We normally leave useful possessions, or even people, at home. But with an RV we can bring all our supplies with us. 1. Ozark National Forest in Arkansas
The Ozark National Forest encompasses 1.2 million acres. Much of this overlaps with the beautiful and majestic Ozark mountains. These mountains are one of the area’s biggest draws. And Mount Magazine in particular is the largest in the state. Some enjoy going up the mountain. But those who prefer to move in the other direction will find that the Blanchard Springs Caverns have them covered. Those simply looking for the glory of a forest will find two distinct forest ecosystems to enjoy.

2. Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland
When people pick up a class RV sale motorhome they’ll usually begin traveling by touching on local attractions. Of course any of the parks mentioned so far are also fantastic choices. But the Assateague Island National Seashore is there when people are ready to take things to the next level. The habitat of the barrier island can be somewhat harsh. As such, it’s best to be very comfortable with RV life before taking it on. But when people are ready they’ll see a truly unique landscape. In fact, much of the scenery is created anew each day thanks to the strong waves and ocean wind. It also boasts salt marshes, maritime forests, wild horses, and beautiful bays and beaches.

3. Olympic National Park in Washington
The Olympic National Park encompasses nearly a million acres. The first thing most people notice is an amazing view. Beautiful trees frame glacier-capped mountains. But that’s only the beginning. The ample rivers provide wild salmon, trout and char. And the best fishing spots also lead into beautiful sandy beaches. And some of those watery areas even include tidepools. These areas are usually rich with some of the most fascinating plant and animal life in the world.

4. Minnewaska State Park Reserve in New York
The next step many people in New York take after searching for a used camper is to chart a path to the Minnewaska State Park Reserve. One of the park’s main draws is the simple fact that it provides almost everything one could hope to find in nature. People who love the water will find ample rivers, streams and even a waterfall. People who enjoy a good hike can set out on 50 miles of footpaths. In short, it has a little something for everyone.

5. Joshua Tree National Park in California
We usually travel in the hope of experiencing a dramatically different environment. But we rarely see locations which enable us to easily jump from one ecosystem to another. Joshua Tree is one of the few areas which gives us the ability to do so with ease. This area enompasses the Mojave and Colorado. Of course, the most distinctive feature is found right in the name. This park boasts an amazing array of Joshua trees. Travelers can see the trees in an amazing manner. And at the same time it offers a great chance to see the properties which made it such a valuable resource for the native peoples.
